Over 80 guests attended a gathering to inaugurate the Zhejiang Business Association in Angola, including Chinese Ambassador to Angola Gong Tao and Angolan government officials, Jornal de Chines reports. Zhejiang is a province of eastern China.
The Angolan Chinese-language newspaper quotes Mr Gong as telling the gathering that Zhejiang companies should take opportunities to help develop the farming, fisheries, forestry, manufacturing and other industries in Angola.
Mr Gong said Zhejiang companies should be socially responsible and help charities, with a view to strengthening the Sino-Angolan relationship.
The Zhejiang Business Association in Angola has over 500 members engaged in trade, or in the farming, fisheries, finance, construction or food and drink industries.
