Angolan airline TAAG will resume flights to China between the end of this year and the beginning of 2024, after the interruption of connections due to the covid-19 pandemic.
The news was revealed by the Angolan Minister of Transport, Ricardo de Abreu, in Beijing. The minister said that, before the pandemic, TAAG had two weekly flights to the Chinese capital, and the resumption of flights could be to another city in China, which has not been revealed.
The minister informed that TAAG has an important intercontinental cargo transport contract that leaves Latin America, passes through Angola and goes to China, valued at more than US$250 million.
