With a promise to invest R$5 billion in Brazil, GAC has announced that it has shipped its first batch of vehicles to the country. At this initial stage, 300 units have been shipped, which should reach the Brazilian market in April. In Bahia, the first dealership is Dinastia, owned by the Indiana Group.
During the Tempo Rei show, GAC exhibited one of the models it will be selling in the country, the Aion Y. The vehicle will soon be in the showroom of the Dinastia dealership, is electric and has a range of over 300 kilometers.
With an eye on what has happened recently with other companies, which have experienced problems with a lack of spare parts, GAC has also started operating a parts distribution center, located in Cajamar, São Paulo. With an area of 2,000 m2, the center will be responsible for supplying spare parts and accessories to the brand's dealer network in the Brazilian market.
