The National Agricultural Society (SNA) signed an agreement with Chinese state-owned giant Hulunbuir State Farm Group on February 3. The agreement was signed to enhance and strengthen cooperation between the two parties, aiming at mutual benefit and building a strategic and sustainable cooperative partnership. This framework document will serve as a guiding instrument for long-term cooperation between the two in the future.
According to the signed document, the Chinese side will adopt a two-way cooperation model to collaborate with local farms or companies in Brazil to improve corn productivity, to achieve mutual benefits and a win-win situation through technological exchange, resource sharing and joint research and development.
On the Brazilian side, SNA must conduct the consultancy part in policy, operations, market conditions, profitability and technology, in addition to optimizing other cooperation models.
