GAC Group is one of China's leading car manufacturers and will be arriving in Portugal in the coming months.

Speaking to Razão Automóvel, GAC officials stated that Portugal will be one of the three priority markets for GAC's first foray into Europe. The importer of this Chinese group to Portugal will be announced soon.

In the first phase, two 100% electric models from Aion, an independent brand recently created by GAC, will be launched in Europe: the Aion UT, a small utility vehicle, and the Aion V, an SUV.

Currently, GAC is engaged in developing, producing and selling passenger and commercial vehicles and also invests in electrification and autonomous driving technologies.
