Wang Chen, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, China’s legislature, has said his country is willing to keep on co-operating with Angola, and to keep on pursuing projects by providing money for Angola to borrow, Angop reports.
The Angolan state-run news agency says Mr Wang said so when he and Chinese Ambassador to Angola Gong Tao met Angolan President João Lourenço in Angola’s capital Luanda on Wednesday.
Angop quotes Mr Gong as saying both sides discussed Sino-Angolan co-operation in economic, political, diplomatic, and social matters during the meeting.
Mr Wang began on Monday a three-day visit to Angola which is meant to strengthen links between the Chinese and Angolan legislatures, Angop says.
