The Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) is organising an International Law and Trade Law Conference for Portuguese-speaking Countries.
About 25 professionals from Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and East Timor will attend the event, which runs from June 22 to July 7.
This is the third conference hosted in 2015 by the training centre of Forum Macao. It will be conducted by the University of Macau and will take place in Macao and Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi Province, in Mainland China.
Participants will attend a number of themed lectures related to commercial law and international law, complemented by field trips and exchange sessions. They will also have the opportunity to take part in the ‘Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair’ to be held in Taiyuan.
These training activities help strengthen co-operation and exchanges in the areas of education and human resources, highlighting Forum Macao’s role in developing closer Sino-Lusophone ties. These initiatives also reflect Forum Macao’s role in promoting the advantages of Macao as a service platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
