The Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) will host a Transportation and Communication Infrastructure Conference for Portuguese-speaking Countries starting this month.
About 26 professionals from Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and East Timor will attend the event, which runs from May 25 to June 9.
The programme, organised by the Training Centre of Forum Macao and conducted by the University of Macau, will take place in Macao and Guangzhou.
Participants will attend a number of thematic lectures related to transportation and communication infrastructure, complemented by field trips and exchange sessions. They will also have the opportunity to take part in the 6th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum and in the Ministerial Meeting on Infrastructure between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
These activities – organised by Forum Macao – are a privileged mechanism to promote the advantages of Macao as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
These initiatives also help strengthen co-operation and exchanges in the areas of education and human resources, highlighting the role of Forum Macao in developing closer ties between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
