Organized by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and coordinated by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao (GMTCM Park), the closing and certificate awarding ceremony of the Seminar on Co-operation in Traditional Medicine between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries was held on October 25 at MGM MACAU.

On September 27, the 3rd China (Macau) High-quality Consumption Exhibition (CHCE) & Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum was inaugurated in Macao. Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, led a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat to participate in the opening ceremony of the China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries Image Pavilion, and toured the pavilion with guests.

From 3 to 11 September, Xie Ying, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, together with the cross-border e-commerce delegation organised by the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, visited Brazil and Portugal for economic and trade activities.

To facilitate the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Economic and Trade Co-operation of the 6th Ministerial Conference of Forum Macao and support the cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries in the areas of bilateral investment, the blue economy and others, Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao

From 21 to 23 August, a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by Xie Ying, Deputy Secretary-General, participated in the opening ceremony and activities of the “Macao Week in Shaanxi•Xi’an” in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province.

From July 29 to 31, 2024, a delegation led by Mr. Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) (Forum Macao), visited Portugal.

On July 31, organized by the City University of Macau, a group of 20 teachers and students from the Jiangxi Police Institute visited the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) for exchanges. Xie Ying, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, attended the exchange session.

On July 26 and 27, Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led a delegation of the Permanent Secretariat to visit São Tomé and Príncipe.

From July 23 to 25, led by Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng, the delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) visited Angola for the Entrepreneurs Meeting for Commercial and Economic Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries – Luanda – 2024 and hosted the Reception of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

Organized by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and coordinated by the City University of Macau (CityU Macau), the closing and certificate awarding ceremony of the “Seminar on Ports and Logistics in the Digital Age for Portuguese-speaking Countries” was held on July 12 at Macau Tower.

From June 18 to 20, during the 15th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum, Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, met with the economic and trade delegations from Shandong and Jiangsu provinces, led by Zhang Qingwei, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, and Zhang Lefu, Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, respectively.

On June 19, Ji Xianzheng, Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, met with a delegation led by Zhu Guoxian, Chairman of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
