After the 5,500 BYD electrified vehicles imported from China landed in Espírito Santo, another 1,000 units are expected, this time from Omoda Jaecoo, from the Chery Group, at the port of Vitória, ES. They left Shanghai and Tianjin, China, on February 27, the company said on March 6.
It is the first commercial batch of models from both brands, which will be sold in fifty dealerships under the Omoda Jaecoo banner, located in seventeen states. It comprises the Omoda 5, electric, and Jaecoo 7, plug-in hybrid models.
“We have been working tirelessly to offer our future customers the best combination of technology, modern design and innovation,” said Felipe Amaral, head of sales and development for the network, in a statement.
