During the Chinese New Year ceremony organized by the Chinese Embassy in Angola, Luís Cupeñala, President of the Angola China Chamber of Commerce (CAC), reported that trade between Angola and China in 2024 exceeded 24 billion USD, an increase compared to the previous year, when trade totaled around USD 23.4 billion.
The CAC president highlighted that the 2024 performance is positive. And he believes that the numbers presented and the increase in private investment in Angola will continue to grow as relations between the two countries intensify.
This year, the Angola-China Chamber of Commerce plans to hold the second edition of the Angola-China Business Forum in Luanda. Luís Cupeñala also mentioned that Chinese financial institutions such as the China Africa Development Fund will be invited to participate.
