China reported that Brazil was the country to which it increased exports the most in 2024, following the release of the trade balance, according to Valor Econômico.
Chinese data indicates that sales to the Brazilian market increased by 22%, equivalent to US$72 billion. The rate of imports of products from Brazil fell by 3.5% to US$116 billion. According to the report, 77% of Brazilian exports come from the soybean, iron ore and oil markets.
According to Brazilian statistics, Brazil's trade surplus with the Chinese reached US$31.3 billion last year. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIDC), Brazil exported US$ 95.9 billion to China and imported US$ 64.6 billion.
