Great Wall Motors (GWM), one of China's largest private vehicle manufacturers., started its spare parts logistics operations in Cajamar. The new distribution center is managed in partnership with DSV, a transportation and storage services company.
At its distribution center in Cajamar, GWM stores more than 3,500 types of components imported from China, totaling 523,000 pieces. This stock is sufficient to meet dealership demand for up to nine months, ensuring a continuous flow of parts for maintenance and repair.
GWM's distribution center currently contains parts for the Ora and Haval H6 models, but the company plans to expand to include parts for other models, such as the Tank 300 utility vehicle. The number of parts in stock is expected to increase as the company expands its offering in Brazil.
