Since Chinese New Year 2022, Diário de Pernambuco has begun a partnership with the China Media Group (CMG) with the co-production of video reports recorded throughout Brazil showing the synergy of partnerships between the two countries.

Diário's journalism director Paula Losada said: “With the production of 100 stories, this collaboration has allowed relevant stories to reach a wider audience.”

This partnership has already covered many cities in Pernambuco and nine other states. It has interviewed Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, consuls and ambassadors, ministers of state, state and federal representatives, the governors of six northeastern states, various mayors and city councilors.
