A delegation sent by the Union of Portuguese-speaking Capital Cities will visit Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau between October 12 and October 23 with a view to increasing economic co-operation among all the cities, Angop reports.
The Angolan news agency says the delegation will comprise officials of central and local governments, and representatives of trade associations and financial institutions in the Portuguese-speaking Countries.
The report says their purpose is to form constructive and lasting partnerships among the cities.
Members of the delegation will attend international trade fairs in Guangzhou and Macao, including a trade fair meant to promote of the products and services of the Portuguese-speaking Countries. They will also attend a forum on sustainable cities, Angop says.
