Representatives of the top legislative bodies in Mainland China and Mozambique say they will build closer ties, Xinhua reports.
The government-run news agency says Zhang Dejiang, the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, met Verónica Macamo, President of the Mozambican Parliament, yesterday.
Both organisations could create more favourable conditions for co-operation between business communities, Xinhua quoted Mr Zhang as saying. Politicians in both countries should help create better conditions for Mainland investors and promote people-to-people exchanges, he added.

Earlier this week, she met Mr Yu Zhengsheng, the Chairman of the National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference
