Agriculture, health and education will be the focus of Mainland investment in Angola in the coming years, the Jornal de Angola reports.
The newspaper quotes Angola-China Chamber of Commerce President Arnaldo Calado, who made the comments at the chamber’s annual general meeting on Tuesday.
The organisation’s co-ordinator for agriculture and fisheries, Nelson Dias dos Santos, told the meeting that Mainland investments in agriculture were directed to boosting productivity.
The chamber represents about 600 Mainland and Angolan companies, of which 232 are Chinese companies investing in the African country.
