China is willing to provide the maximum support necessary to develop education and training in Angola, and thus contribute to the African nation’s general development, said China’s Ambassador, Cui Aimin, according to Angolan newspaper Jornal de Angola.

Mr Cui Aimin was speaking at the weekend in a meeting with Kundi Paihama, the Governor of Huambo province.

During his trip to the region, Mr Cui Aimin took part in a ceremony marking the donation of educational equipment to the Angola-China Friendship School. The school, a gift from China to Angola, was inaugurated in 2014.

The diplomat also visited several Chinese companies based in Huambo province. He encouraged them to innovate further and to explore the potential for co-operation with local partners, in order to “turn challenges into opportunities”.
