The Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Angola, Chen Feng, expressed on January 10 China's commitment to continue supporting Angola's development through local investment. The diplomat spoke during a visit to the Guangde Internacional Group Industrial Hub (GUANGDE) Lda, located in Cacuaco.
The activity is part of the celebrations of the 42nd anniversary of the establishment of China-Angola diplomatic relations, formalized on January 12, 1983, and aims to deepen bilateral cooperation ties between the two countries.
Since 2011, Angola has been China's second-largest trading partner on the African continent. Cooperation between the two countries covers training and cultural exchange, in addition to the trade and agriculture sectors. According to Chen Feng, Chinese companies in Angola, both state-owned and private, have already created more than 400,000 jobs and trained more than 250,000 local employees.
