Forthing, one of the brands of the Dongfeng Group, one of the largest car manufacturers in China, will begin to be imported and distributed by the Auto-Industrial Group, one of the main operators in the automotive distribution sector in Portugal.

In recent years, the Chinese brand Forthing has invested heavily in the development and commercialization of electric and electrified vehicles, with an annual production of more than 1 million vehicles.

One of Forthing's models destined for Europe is the T5 Friday, an electric SUV measuring 4.6 meters long, equipped with a 204 hp electric motor, powered by an 85.9 kWh battery, and offering a range of up to 510 km.

“Over our more than 100 years of existence, the Auto-Industrial Group has consolidated its position as one of the main players in the automotive sector in Portugal and intends to boost sustainable growth for the coming decades with this new partnership,"  says Alfredo Leite Santos, member of the Board of Directors of the Auto-Industrial Group.
