The announcement of the new Omoda and Jaecoo factory with investments for production in Brazil will be made in January by the company's CEO, Shawn XU, who is vice president of Chery Global. The goal is to start production of the vehicles in 2025.
The automaker's office in Brazil will announce the new dealers in the coming days of December, shortly after which it will reveal the first two vehicles in the product list for the 2024 and 2025 bienniums.
Omoda and Jaecoo plan to offer the most sustainable side of China as the main pillar for the brands that will have four models starting next year. Of the lineup, all will be SUVs three of them will be light hybrids and one electric that could arrive in early 2025.
Omoda and Jaecoo have already confirmed that they will sell their cars on a network independent of CAOA Chery. Around 38 points of sale will be presented in Brazilian capitals and then in branches in the interior of each state.
