Chinese telecommunications equipment company Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd will begin admitting Angolan students to its Seeds for the Future training programme, Expansão reports.
The Angolan newspaper says Huawei and Unitel SA of Angola have jointly invited Angolans studying engineering at university to apply for places in the programme.
Huawei will give 10 students, chosen from 35 countries, places in the two-week Seeds for the Future programme, to be taught on the Huawei campus in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, Expansão says.
The Huawei website says 30,000 students attending over 350 universities in 108 different parts of the world had taken the programme by the end of 2017, and that 3,600 had studied at the Huawei headquarters.
