Export-Import Bank of China (China Eximbank) Chairman Hu Xiaolian has said the bank is willing to discuss various ways of financing, including projects for joint exploitation of the sea by China and Cabo Verde, CFN reports.

The Chinese financial news website says Ms Hu said so when she met Cabo Verde Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Olavo Correia in Beijing.

Ms Hu said the China Eximbank would actively support Chinese investment in Cabo Verde to help the country develop economically and socially.

Cabo Verde wishes to trade more with China; to obtain more Chinese technology and more Chinese help in exploiting the sea and building ports; and to attract more Chinese tourists, CFN quotes Mr Correia as saying.
