Solar power plant equipment trader MTR Solar and Chinese photovoltaic module manufacturer Risen have announced an equipment supply partnership. MTR is already Risen’s distributor in Latin America and now signs a new equipment contract with the new structures.

The modules manufactured by Risen for MTR will be produced with a high-strength steel alloy structure, which brings an implicit sustainability since the steel has a carbon footprint because it is 100% recyclable, reducing carbon emissions by 6.2 times and energy consumption by three times.

“MTR is always looking for innovations that bring more safety, efficiency to our customers and that at the same time guarantee less degradation to the environment”, emphasizes Thiago Rios, CEO of MTR Solar.
