Mozambique wants continued strengthening of cooperation with China

On October 1, the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, said that Mozambique wants to maintain strong and continuous bilateral and economic cooperation with China, noting that ties between the two countries have made remarkable progress in recent years.


The expectations regarding cooperation between the two nations were expressed in a message that the head of state sent to the the Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.


The President stressed that Mozambique will contribute to raising the Global Strategic Cooperation Partnership between Mozambique and China to new heights, in favor of the well-being and economic and social progress of both peoples and countries.
