Macau Legend Development Ltd has disclosed that it means to complete next year the first phase of its hotel and casino complex in Cabo Verde, Lusa reports.

The Portuguese news agency, citing a company document, says the first phase will have 250 hotel rooms, a casino, a swimming pool, restaurants, bars and shops.

The document says further development of the complex will depend on market conditions and Cabo Verdean government policy being conducive.

The report says the estimated cost of the whole complex is 250 million euros (US$276.69 million), meaning it is the biggest tourism project in Cabo Verde, Lusa says.

In May Lusa reported that the complex would be built in phases, and that Macau Legend would spend 90 million euros on it to begin with.
