The International Finance Corporation (IFC), an arm of the World Bank, will look into ways of financing contributions by the private sector to the economic development of Angola, Angop reports.
The Angolan news agency quotes IFC Vice-president and Treasurer Jingdong Hua as saying during a visit to Angola that the IFC study will determine how the law can be changed to help the private sector.
IFC intends to invest in agribusiness and energy in Angola, particularly renewable energy, with a view to diversifying the economy there, Angop says.
