An official of the Brazilian Ministry of the Economy, Marcos Troyjo, has said he expects the value of trade between China and Brazil to be between US$105 billion and US$110 billion this year, Reuters reports.

Mr Troyjo’s estimate implies that the annual growth in the value of Sino-Brazilian trade would be at least 6.4 percent, the news agency says.

Separately, Reuters reports that Brazil exported 320,000 tonnes of beef to China in the first 10 months of this year, 23.6 percent more than in the corresponding period last year.

Brazil exported 1.5 million tonnes of beef to all parts of the world in the first 10 months, 11 percent more than a year earlier, Reuters says.
