Chinese companies have held their fourth recruitment fair in Brazil, the China News Service (CNS) reports.

The Chinese state-run news agency says 13 Chinese employers, including Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd and China General Nuclear Power Group, advertised over 150 positions at the fair, which was held in São Paulo on Sunday.

The report says over 2,200 jobseekers registered online for the fair, and that over 500, Brazilians and Chinese alike, turned up in the flesh to be interviewed.

Chinese corporate investment in Brazil has grown, creating jobs there, the report quotes Association of Chinese Companies in Brazil Secretary-General Zhang Xin as saying.

Mr Zhang’s association, the Confucius Institute at Saão Paulo State University, Brazilian consulting firm IEST and Brazilian business association LIDE jointly arranged the fair, CNS says.
