Chinese Businesspeople Association in Angola President He Faming has said the trend among Chinese companies operating in Angola is to re-invest their earnings there in agriculture, Angop reports.

The Angolan state-run news agency quotes Mr He as saying in an interview that Chinese companies are doing lucrative businesses in several fields, but have trouble repatriating their profits because of new Angolan controls on currency exchange.

One example of a Chinese company re-investing its earnings in agriculture is an enterprise that put its money into growing passion fruit and vegetables in the northeastern province of Lunda Norte, Angop quotes Mr He as saying.
