BMI Research predicts strong growth in the volume of Angolan oil production next year, Lusa reports.
The Portuguese news agency quotes the latest report by BMI Research on the Angolan oil industry as forecasting that crude output will grow to nearly 1.75 million barrels per day this year from just over 1.74 million bpd last year, and to just over 1.86 million bpd next year, before slowing in subsequent years.
BMI Research says the growth it expects next year will be attributable to the decade of experience of oil exploration that Angola has, great pre-salt exploration potential in the country, and the stable tax and licensing regime there.
