Deputy Secretary-General, Casimiro de Jesus Pinto, welcomed the delegation and introduced the development progress of Forum Macao and Macao’s role as a platform bridging China and PSCs. The 6th Ministerial Conference of Forum Macao upholds Macao’s role as a platform to collaborate with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin for development and facilitate China and PSCs to hold exchanges and cooperate in fields such as innovation, entrepreneurship and science and technology. He expected enterprises of PSCs to proactively participate in economic and trade cooperation between China and PSCs through Forum Macao’s framework, leverage Macao’s platform, enjoy development opportunities in mainland China and Macao, and jointly promote cooperation between China and PSCs to a new level.

In the meeting, the delegation also discussed core issues of concern to start-ups with Deputy Secretaries-General, Danilo Henriques and Casimiro de Jesus Pinto, including financing and cooperation with enterprises in mainland China and Macao. Members of the delegation noted that they have strengthened their understanding of the platform for China and PSCs, Macao’s integration into national development, and the construction of “One Center, One Platform and One Base”, which is conducive to raising the cooperation levels between China and PSCs in the future.
