On November 8, the ABI signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the West China International Communication Organization (WCICO) to set up the Bridging News Brazil Liaison Office. This office will increase Chongqing-Brazil collaboration in disseminating news about the expansion of industry and trade, cultural exchanges and tourism promotion.
The agreement was signed by the ABI's Director of Journalism, Moacyr de Oliveira Filho, and Zhao Wujun, director of the WCICO, at the event “China, an opportunity: global promotion of Chongqing's brands” to Brazil, held in São Paulo. During the event, the ABI received the plaque for the Bridging News Liaison Office in Brazil from Zhao Wujun.
The establishment of the Brazil Liaison Office represents a significant milestone in WCICO's global expansion. This new office will play a key role in promoting Chongqing's brands in Brazil and Latin America and supporting financial news reports and services for Chinese companies that are looking to extend their reach in Brazil.
