Portuguese-speaking countries praise results of 6th World Media Summit

On 14 October, with the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Media Transformation”, the 6th World Media Summit, held in the Xinjiang Urumqi, brought together over 500 participants from 106 countries and regions, including the representatives from 208 major media, government agencies and international organizations.


Marcelo Benez, the commercial executive director of Brazilian newspaper Folha de S. Paulo, considered that this summit is a very important opportunity to share the opinions of the world's different media. He also said that, at this summit, the big news brands were able to share their main and best practices and analyze the trends in the world of media and communication.


Mama Saliu Sané, the director-general of National Radio of Guinea-Bissau, praised the results of the summit. He pointed out that Guinea-Bissau has an undeniable partnership with China. Through the conference, Guinea-Bissau is willing to have direct access to China's media cooperation and to show a real China without depending on other agencies.
