Chinese live-streaming game company Huya Inc. has launched its Nimo TV application in Brazil, as part of its rapid overseas expansion plan, Variety reports.
The US magazine says the Nimo TV app focuses on live-streaming games and competitive gaming – known as eSports – on various platforms, and has creatively crafted content.
The report says Huya has got some people well-known in the world of live-streaming games to promote the Nimo TV app in Brazil.
The Nimo TV app is now available in Argentina, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam, the report says.
Last December the Nimo TV app had over 11.5 million active users outside China each month and the Android app has been downloaded 20 million times globally, Variety says.
