Minister of Commerce Joffre Van-Dúnem Júnior will lead a party of 103 other Angolans who will attend the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in China this week, Jornal de Angola reports.

The visitors will include representatives of the mineral resources, farming, infrastructure and manufacturing industries in Angola, and of the tourism and other service industries there, the newspaper says.

This month the Chinese government-run news agency, Xinhua, reported that the trade show will open in the central Chinese city of Changsha on Thursday and close on Saturday.

The organisers expect the show to attract over 5,000 Chinese and over 1,500 foreigners, including people from 53 African countries and 3.500 exhibitors and professional visitors, Xinhua said.
