Chinese company given Mozambican education deal

The government of Mozambique has engaged Beijing Ruipan International Education Technology Co. Ltd of China to improve the Mozambican education system, Rádio Moçambique reports.

The state-run radio station quotes Mozambican Minister of Science and Technology, Higher and Technical Vocational Education Jorge Nhambiu as saying the company has a five-year agreement with his ministry to train personnel and to give vocational and cultural education in Mozambique an international dimension.

Beijing Ruipan Head of International Education Li Xin expressed hope that the deal signed on Tuesday in Maputo will lead to more Sino-Mozambican cooperation, Rádio Moçambique says.
