VV Group Co. Ltd of China did a deal worth US$1.22 million at the 2019 China International Import Expo to import beer sold by Sodiba of Angola, Xinhua reports.

The Chinese government-run news agency says VV Group was among the companies in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu that had done at least US$1.4 billion worth of international deals at the expo by yesterday.

The report says Jiangsu Overseas Group Corp. did deals together worth US$350 million to import beef into China, one with a Brazilian supplier and the other with an Australian supplier.

Other Jiangsu companies represented at the expo agreed to buy goods including cosmetics, drinks, medical equipment and vehicles, the report says.

The expo, being held in Shanghai, ends on Sunday, Xinhua says.
