Angola’s government is researching the establishment of a mining investment fund, the Angop news agency reports.

Minister for Geology and Mining Francisco Queiroz says the initiative could support businesses and help the industry develop by lowering barriers to entry.

There have already been some expressions of interest, Mr Queiroz told Angop.
