Brazilian e-commerce faced a challenging February, but the imported goods segment remained strong, driven by the growth of Temu, which has consolidated itself as the largest platform in the sector.

Repeating its success in January, Temu registered 151 million hits in February, the highest number ever achieved by the brand in Brazil. The volume was 77 million higher than that of AliExpress, second place in the imported goods segment. In the overall ranking of the largest e-commerce sites in the country, the company has already surpassed SHEIN, AliExpress and Samsung, coming in second only to Shopee. The growth is impressive, considering that Temu began its operations in Brazil in May 2024.

It is notable that consumer behavior continues to change, with an 11.37% growth in purchases via the app compared to the same period last year. Currently, 78% of e-commerce accesses in Brazil are made via mobile devices, reinforcing the growth trend of applications driven by the platforms themselves.
