On November 11th, Chinese electronics manufacturer OPPO held an event in São Paulo to officially announce its entry into the Brazilian market. The company presented its expansion plan for the coming years and showcased a complete line of products, including smartphones, smartwatches and tablets.
One of the highlights of the event was the launch of the OPPO A40, a mid-range smartphone that goes on sale this week.
By the end of 2025, the brand's products will be available in more than 1,000 Magazine Luiza stores, including integration of online and offline channels. Starting next year, the company will also be present in all Claro operator stores, covering all Brazilian states.
In five years, the OPPO company wants to be the second most popular brand in Android smartphones in Brazil.
