The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) announced a collaboration with China for the production of hybrid cars, marking another step towards a more sustainable future for the automotive industry.
At a press conference held at the BNDES headquarters, President Aloizio Mercadante revealed the plans for this strategic partnership. The aim is to create a line of hybrid cars that combine ethanol and electricity, promoting both technological innovation and the reduction of pollutant emissions.
In addition to hybrid cars, the BNDES also plans to invest in financing electric buses. With Brazil being the second largest bus user in the world, this initiative is essential to modernize and make public transport more efficient.
