Cabo Verde Education Minister Martiza Rosabal’s visit to China has been put back until sometime in the first half of next year, Inforpress reports.

The Cabo Verde news agency says Ms Rosabal had been due to begin her visit to China yesterday and stay until October 23.

Her visit was to have including a spell in Macao, Inforpress says.

The news agency reported earlier his month that Ms Rosabal had been invited by the Chinese Education Ministry to discuss present and future Sino-Cabo Verde co-operation in education, sports training and maritime matters – including the establishment of what the report called a “sea campus” in Mindelo.
