The value of Chinese exports in renminbi was 4.2 percent higher in February than a year earlier, growing more slowly than exports the month before, Xinhua reports, without giving any figure for the value.
The state-run news agency, citing data obtained from the General Administration of Customs, says Chinese imports were worth 44.7 percent more in February than a year earlier, growing faster than imports the month before – but, again, it does not give a value.
The report does, however, give a value for the balance of trade last month, which was 60.36 billion yuan (US$8.74 billion) in deficit.
