A competition for Chinese-Portuguese translation has been launched by the Tertiary Education Services Office and Macao Polytechnic Institute, the Jornal Tribuna de Macau reports.
The newspaper says entrants must translate a document written in Chinese into Portuguese. The winners will be announced in August and receive a 130,000-pataca prize (US$16.273).
Applications are open to higher education institutions with Chinese-Portuguese translation studies and entries close on January 31.
The competition will promote international exchanges.
