On December 2, Ms. Maria Gustava, Ambassador of Mozambique to China and Head of the diplomatic mission of Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs) to China, visited the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) (Forum Macao) and attended a farewell reception.

On December 1, Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng led the full delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) on a courtesy visit to the Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, Mr Tai Kin Ip.

On November 28, 2025—marking the 50th anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste—the Minister of Planning and Strategic Investment of Timor-Leste, Mr Gastão Fernando de Sousa, led a delegation on a visit to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).

On November 13, Dalva Maurícia Calombo Ringote Allen, Ambassador of Angola to China, led a delegation to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

​To further strengthen collaboration between Macao and the international community regarding emergency healthcare systems and enhance public health emergency response capacity, the Health Bureau and the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) (Forum Macao) jointly organized the “Exchange Meeting on Capacity Building of Emergency Medical Teams” today (October 31).

On October 27, Governor Luo Dongchuan of Qinghai Province led a delegation comprising government officials and business leaders on a visit to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).

On October 24, the “Opening Ceremony Portuguese-Speaking Countries Fine Art Exhibition and Book Launch of New Literary Works” of the 17th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries was held with great success at the Gallery of the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) of the Macao SAR.

On October 22, Mr. Wang Jinfu, Vice Governor of Fujian Province, led a delegation to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. The delegation was in Macao to participate in the 2nd China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Expo (Macao), the 30th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair, and the Macao Franchise Expo 2025.

On October 22, Chen Ping, Vice Governor of Shandong Province, led a delegation to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. The delegation was in Macao to participate in the 2nd China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Expo (Macao), the 30th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair, and the Macao Franchise Expo 2025.

The 30th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (30th MIF), the 2nd China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Expo (Macao) (2nd C-PLPEX), and the Macao Franchise Expo 2025 (2025MFE) were held concurrently from October 22 to 25, 2025, at Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao.

On October 14, Mr. Liu Xiaoming, Governor of the People’s Government of Hainan Province, led a delegation to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. The delegation exchanged views with Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng on utilizing Forum Macao’s multilateral mechanism and Macao’s platform advantages to further strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Hainan Province and Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs).
